Former White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt said on Fox News on Tuesday evening she recently spoke with President Trump and that he “remains cautiously optimistic” about the midterm election results.

Leavitt, who launched an unsuccessful attempt to oust Pappas from his House seat in 2022, called the election result “a disappointing loss for our state.”
