The plenary session of Israel’s Central Elections Committee approved the final results of last week’s parliamentary elections Wednesday.

The approval came with 15 committee members voting in favor, two against and 14 abstaining, according to Israeli news website Ynet.

Committee Chairman Judge Noam Solberg said allegations concerning aspects of the electoral process were under investigation, while stressing that such suspicions “do not cast doubt on the elections as a whole.”Earlier Wednesday, the committee said it had found no evidence that the integrity of last week’s parliamentary elections had been compromised, after Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and right-wing parties in his bloc alleged fraud and voting manipulation within Israel’s Arab community.
