Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy arrived in Brussels on Thursday to attend a European Council meeting and also hold bilateral talks on the sidelines of the event.

On US social media company X, Zelenskyy said he has meetings scheduled over the next two days, including talks Thursday with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte, as well as French President Emmanuel Macron, Belgian King Phillippe, and the prime ministers of Belgium, Denmark, and Poland.
泽连斯基说：“明天计划与欧洲理事会主席和欧盟委员会主席，以及匈牙利、芬兰和瑞典总理举行会晤。”
“Tomorrow, meetings are planned with the presidents of the European Council and the European Commission, as well as the prime ministers of Hungary, Finland, and Sweden,” Zelenskyy said.

Saying that everybody in Europe wants the ongoing Russia-Ukraine war to end, Zelenskyy highlighted the need for “strong signals,” namely “more real pressure on Russia and more defense support for Ukraine.”“It is especially important now to act together to protect lives,” Zelenskyy added.

Zelenskyy’s arrival follows his visit to the UK on Wednesday, where he held talks with King Charles III and British Prime Minister Andy Burnham.
