The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) announced early Friday that an employee of Ukraine’s Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant (ZNPP) was killed in a drone attack.
“国际原子能机构获悉，扎波罗热核电站（ZNPP）一名员工今日在无人机袭击中丧生，”该机构在社交媒体平台X上宣布。它指出，受害者据称是该厂集中维修车间的一名焊工。
"The IAEA has been informed that an employee of the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant (ZNPP) was killed by a drone attack today," the agency announced on the US social media platform It noted that the victim was reportedly a welder at the plant’s centralized repair workshop.
国际原子能机构总干事拉斐尔·格罗西表示，“对核电站工作人员的任何袭击都是完全不可接受的，并违反了武装冲突期间核安全与保障的七项不可或缺支柱”，它补充道。
IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi said "any attack on nuclear plant staff is completely unacceptable and violates the Seven Indispensable Pillars for Nuclear Safety and Security during an armed conflict," it added.
它进一步强调，格罗西呼吁“最大限度地保持军事克制，以帮助防止冲突期间发生核事故的风险”。
It further stressed Grossi's call for "maximum military restraint to help prevent the risk of a nuclear accident during the conflict."
