No clear winner was produced in New Zealand’s legislative elections, setting up the two main blocks – Prime Minister Christopher Luxon and his right-wing coalition and opposition leader Chris Hipkins with his left-wing alliance – for weeks of political wrangling to try to cobble together a majority.
