India has advised its nationals in Saudi Arabia to follow local rules and refrain from filming or sharing information about missile and drone interceptions amid escalating tensions in the region, the Press Trust of India reported on Sunday.

The advisory follows a series of drone and missile attacks by Yemen's Houthis targeting civilian infrastructure. The Indian mission also announced the continued suspension of some Air India and Air India Express flights to and from Saudi Arabia.

“The Indian community residing in Saudi Arabia is requested to abide by local rules and regulations,” the Indian Embassy said on social media while reposting a notification issued by the Directorate of Saudi Civil Defence.

“Filming, publishing, or sharing information related to countering missiles and drones and their impact sites exposes you to legal liability,” the notification said.

According to PTI, the Indian mission said Air India and Air India Express flights to and from Riyadh and Dammam would remain suspended until 7 November 2026. Services to and from Jeddah would remain suspended until 31 October 2026.

The portal also quoted the Saudi-led coalition fighting Yemen's Houthis as saying that air defences had intercepted and destroyed a ballistic missile launched towards Riyadh on Sunday.
