BENGALURU - Gulf stock markets were mixed in early trade on Monday as investors assessed talks between Iranian and Qatari officials aimed at securing an agreement to end the US-Israeli conflict with Iran.

President Donald Trump has said the US would not launch new attacks on Iran before the vote and that discussions with Tehran had been productive, but has not ruled out further military action afterwards. Saudi Arabia's benchmark index rose 0.6%, led by real estate, industrial and utility stocks. Dar Al Arkan Real Estate Development gained 3%, while Saudi National Bank, the kingdom's largest lender by assets, advanced 1%.
