Türkiye and the European Union must act with a shared understanding of competitiveness and economic security amid global trade turbulence, Turkish Trade Minister Omer Bolat said Tuesday.
在布鲁塞尔举行的土耳其—欧盟商业峰会结束后，博拉特在土耳其社交平台NSosyal上发帖称，他与欧盟贸易与经济安全事务专员马罗斯·谢夫乔维奇共同向与会企业界领袖发表了讲话。此次峰会吸引了大量土耳其及欧盟企业界的代表参与。
In a post on Turkish social media platform NSosyal following a Türkiye-EU Business Summit in Brussels, Bolat said he addressed business leaders alongside EU Commissioner for Trade and Economic Security Maros Sefcovic at the event, which drew broad participation from Turkish and EU business circles.
博拉特指出，目前两国双边贸易额已突破2330亿美元，欧洲资本占土耳其外来直接投资的比例也高达约70%，这些数据充分体现了双方经济伙伴关系的深度以及相互依存的程度。
Bolat said bilateral trade exceeding $233 billion and European capital accounting for approximately 70% of foreign direct investment in Türkiye showed the depth of their economic partnership and mutual interdependence.
谢夫乔维奇在会上强调了土耳其与欧盟之间经济与贸易关系的战略重要性，同时指出高级别贸易对话机制对深化双方关系发挥着关键作用。
He said Sefcovic stressed the strategic importance of Türkiye-EU economic and trade relations and highlighted the key role of the High-Level Trade Dialogue mechanism in advancing those ties.
博拉特强调，欧盟新制定的产业与竞争力政策应当充分考虑到通过关税同盟得以建立的强大生产与供应链体系。
Bolat stressed that the EU's new industrial and competitiveness policies should take into account the strong production and supply chains established through the Customs Union.
他表示：“土耳其不仅是欧洲的重要贸易伙伴，更是强大的生产基地、值得信赖的供应链合作伙伴，也是全球竞争中的战略伙伴。”
"Türkiye is not only an important trading partner for Europe; it is also a strong production base, a reliable supply chain partner, and a strategic partner in global competition," he said.
博拉特补充道，土耳其在提升欧洲工业能力、保障供应安全以及增强其在全球市场的竞争力方面所具有的潜力正日益凸显。
Türkiye's potential to strengthen Europe's industrial capacity, supply security, and competitiveness in global markets is becoming increasingly important, Bolat added.
他认为，在现有合作成果的基础上进一步深化经济关系符合双方的长远利益。
Deepening economic relations on the basis of existing achievements would therefore serve both sides' long-term interests, he said.
最后，博拉特重申了双方的决心：将加强在绿色转型与数字化转型领域的合作，更充分地利用关税同盟带来的机遇，并密切两国企业界的联系，从而提升共同竞争力并推动双边贸易发展。
Bolat reaffirmed their determination to strengthen cooperation in the green and digital transitions, make more effective use of the opportunities offered by the Customs Union, and reinforce ties between their business communities to boost joint competitiveness and bilateral trade.
他还表示，在总统雷杰普·塔伊普·埃尔多安的领导下，土耳其提出了“土耳其世纪”发展愿景，旨在提升本国的生产、出口、投资及技术水平，进一步巩固其在全球经济中的地位。
He also said the Century of Türkiye vision, pursued under President Recep Tayyip Erdogan's leadership, aims to expand the country's production, export, investment, and technological capabilities while strengthening its position in the global economy.
他补充道，凭借自身的战略地理位置、完善的工业基础设施、高素质劳动力以及强大的制造业能力，土耳其将继续努力提升其在国际贸易领域的作用。
Türkiye will continue working to advance its role in international trade by drawing on its strategic location, industrial infrastructure, skilled workforce, and manufacturing capabilities, he added.
